Pepart
A print-on-demand storefront where the on-screen preview is the print, exactly — down to the crop.
300 DPI
Preview = the printFramed posters, made on demand
300 DPI
Print-ready render of the buyer’s crop
Preview = print
No crop drift, by design
Automated
Payment → render → Printful order
— The challenge
The problem
Print-on-demand has a trust problem: customers can't see what they'll actually receive, and a crop that drifts by a few pixels between preview and print means a refund and a reprint. Pepart needed the preview to be the print — exactly.
— What we built
The solution
01
Real-time 3D frame configurator
Customers choose frame size and colour and preview the poster in 3D or staged in a room, with a 2D canvas fallback for browsers without WebGL.
02
A crop that becomes the print
The buyer’s pan-and-zoom crop is captured once and re-rendered server-side at 300 DPI — the same crop math drives the preview and the print file, so there is no drift.
03
Automated fulfilment
Payment triggers a print-file render and a Printful order automatically; mockups, shipping rates, and tracking all flow back from Printful.
— The outcome
What changed
The pipeline that draws the preview is the pipeline that renders the print, at 300 DPI — so what a customer crops on screen is exactly what arrives framed, and every order flows to Printful without a human in the loop.
